General noteDesigned to be bound at the end of a metrical psalter or hymn collection to supply music to which the psalms could be sung. The leaves of music fold out so that they may be seen next to the text being sung.
General noteThe only known copy, held by the American Antiquarian Society, lacks title page and is bound with: Bible. O.T. Psalms. English. Brady-Tate. 1773. A new version of the Psalms of David ... (Evans 12667). AAS has also a fragment consisting of title page only and transcribed here. Richard Crawford has suggested that this title page belongs with the leaves found bound in the AAS copy of the Brady-Tate Psalms.
